The Korea Institute of Public Administration(KIPA).

In 1991,
KIPA was established
To elevate expertise and public value in government administration
From regulation, evaluation, conflict management
Administrative data, and to international cooperation;
We study the entire spectrum of public policy process and
Design the cornerstones for change.

October, 1991 – Opening of the Korea Institute of Public Administration
July, 2001 – Designated as a specialized research institute for government performance evaluation
September, 2007 – as a specialized research institute for conflict management
July, 2013 – as an official statistical agency
January, 2014 – Opening of the Center for International Development Cooperation
October, 2015 – Relocation to the new campus at Bulgwang-dong, Eunpyeong-gu
June, 2017 – Designated as a specialized institute for regulatory research
January, 2020 – Opening of the Center for Government Organization Design
April, 2022 – Designated as a specialized research institute for organizational management

Our work guides policy direction so that public policies, such as

Can reach further, with more flexibility.
