| The
Korea Institute of Public Administration (KIPA) is a government-
sponsored organization devoted to independent research
on public policy and administration. The KIPA has six
research centers and three project units that provide
high quality research, policy recommendations, analysis
on the full range of public policy issues.
KIPA's mission is to provide comprehensive research,
knowledge management, and professional training on public
administration and policy in both the domestic and international
arena. For sixteen years, the KIPA has created a new
paradigm of public administration and governance in
the age of globalization, information, and post-modernism.
The KIPA also plays a vital role as a policy database
center that collects, analyzes, and disseminates knowledge
and information on public administration. The activities
help practitioners, scholars and citizens share policy
information, and help government officials create guidelines
and manuals for public policy issues and government
innovations.
