President Dr. Huck-ju Kwon, Dr. Seungheon Han(Director of the Center for International Development Cooperation), and SunBak Chin(Senior Researcher of the Center for International Development Cooperation) visited Helsinki, Finland from June 7 to 13, 2025.

President Huck-ju Kwon attended the conference “UNU-WIDER Safeguarding Tomorrow – Innovative Approaches to Growth and Equity” at the invitation of the United Nations University World Institute for Development Economics Research (UNU-WIDER), and delivered a lecture on the topic of "Social Protection in South Korea: Transition from the Developmental to the Universal Welfare State". In addition, the delegation held discussions with major Finnish research institutions on potential areas of collaboration and visited relevant government ministries to gather information and materials on Finland’s online platform policies.
